A visit to the theatre is rarely a waste of time, and Glory on Earth at the Lyceum on Edinburgh is no exception. A page from Scotland’s history, when the curmudgeonly John Knox meets the young Mary Queen of Scots, told from Mary’s viewpoint was a real gem. The best £25 I’ve spent in a while.
I am not a theatre critic, I don’t have the skills, but here is a four star review from the Guardian. It’s on until the 10th of June and well worth a visit.
