In July the DT’s Science and Comment sections contained two articles one on climate change and the other positing the likelihood of a new ice age. Both of which have been soundly discredited by the experts at Climate Feedback. However as yet I have not seen a correction or even an acknowledgement that there are other views.
First the bet noir of real science, Christopher Booker. His words on Arctic sea ice so full of inaccuracies and muddled thinking that even the most ardent sceptic would be ashamed. The analysis of the article can be found here.
And before that there was Dan Hyde who put on his Mr Jekyll hat to warn of a new ice age. This article is possibly even more absurd than Booker’s. The analysis of the article can be found here.
